Property!

We pulled the trigger on property this weekend! We are under contract for a 1-acre lot in the Iron Creek subdivision outside of Stanley. We got a great deal on it and are super excited to start thinking about what we're going to do with it.

It's a very private lot with lots of trees and it borders on Forest Service land. We will get some pictures up soon!

Knee Surgery

Last Friday (10/24) I finally gave in to the torn meniscus and had surgery. The procedure apparently went "textbook" and I have had surprisingly little pain. Guess I get to save all the Vicodin for a rainy day. Since then, I've spent a lot of time on the couch, but soon get to start spinning on the bike to nowhere. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll be better than new!

Moving a house?

This is a photo of the house we plan to move from Ketchum to a lot in Iron Creek near Stanley. It will be the most economical way for us to have a place of our own, without taking on a mortgage that will significantly change our lifestyle. Not to mention it's environmentally friendly!



While the house is very small, the layout is very liveable with lots of storage space. The inside is recently remodeled, but the interior still needs a little work (mostly trim and drywall).
